Meet Gizmo,

Gizmo was surrendered to us by his previous owner who was no longer able to give him the care that he needed after being attacked by a neighbors large dog. 

The owner could not afford the continued care of this sweet pup so we have taken him in with the hopes of saving his life. At only 7 months old he deserves the chance to live a long, healthy and happy life. It is through our friends and other Sheltie lovers that we are able to help Gizmo survive his ordeal.  

Gizmo has endured two (2) surgeries to close his wounds. He will be on antibiotics for some time due to the level of infection that he had. It will be a long road to recovery but with the Animal Healthcare Clinic taking care of him we know that he is in the best of hands. The vets and all the staff have gone way out of their way to help us save this sweet soul.

Gizmo requires daily wound care to keep the infection from getting any worse and to help the wound heal so he can get back to running and playing like a 7 month old should and not be wearing this cone. Many versions of cone were tried but this one seemed to work the best to keep him from scratching it.
